Default Spares, Upgrades & Support

Hi Guys,

I've been hunting around fancy giving one of these cars ago.

I've got one of the BMax Factory Kits with Big Bores coming

But what spares are best to get & any options parts are required or needed.
Also been reading on other forums people are replacing the diff bearing for ceramic. Which Ceramics are people using (Manf)
Is it the Titanium screw kit the one people are using when building the kit.
What other manf wheels fit these cars or do you have to run Yokomo ones?

Also what UK shop supports the Yokomo for spare parts too?

Thanks

We have fitted 5mm shock towers on Ashleys to give it a bit more strenth
Front wish bones are not as strong as the Durango ones you might need some of them mate Where did you buy your factory kit from

Front wishbones break quite easily so get some of them. I carry usual stuff like shock towers, spare spur gear, crown and diff gears.

With the FT front hexes losi and B44 wheels fit.

DMS, MK racing and Microtech for bits.

I have standard screws and standard diff balls all good. Only screws i have replaced are the ones through the shock towers holding the top of the shock, kit ones bent too easily.

Good car

Good car choice.

Super smooth and very, very easy to drive. Only problem i've had is turn in, but should be sorted with new setup.

Thanks for the info guys.

Just one more question what lipos are you all running?

Seen the Intellect new lipos didbnt know if they would fit.

Also are you adding any weight to the rear of the car at all.
What are you adding & where abouts on the car

Thanks

Im running IP4200 so they are not the new ones and fit perfectly.

I currently have no weight in the car but i am wanting to try brass battery straps from a B44 or similar.

A few people run lead to get the car up to NiMh weight makes the back end a little more "settled"

Just to be clear, the FT kit doesn't come with these. They need to be ordered separately. Also, the kit screws are Philips heads. That's the only reason I added on the Ti screw kit (2mm hex heads).

Great choice in a kit! I absolutely loved the build! Made me realise what low quality AE and Losi kist are...
