Default speedo and lipo compatable

Hey there.

Im trying to put together my first 1/10th setup .

I have a quick question before i buy my brushless combo.

Due to some people having problems i have decided against the losi xcelorin combo and have been looking at the fusion exceed 6.5 combo. I see in the discription it requires a 2 cell lipo.

If i were to use this 2 cell lipo , would it be ok as it is rated 2s or does the fact its a saddle pack mean it is infact 4s?

http://demonpowerproducts.co.uk/prod...oducts_id=4421

Or should i just pay a bit extra and get a better combo? kinda on a budget though

New to electric sorry

Thanks

Pete

Hi Pete,

These Demon Lipos would be fine. they are 2cell and will work perfectly with the exceed or any other brushless combo.

Remember to check out UKRC for Lipos on that Auction site.

Are you going to do BRCA or club racing ? if so im not sure these are ok for BRCA ? as i have not seen them on the legal list but then if just for fun or club racing they will be good.

Hi Pete,

As far as I am aware, it will be almost always 2cell lipos for 10th scale, I think most of the brushless speedos suitable for 10th scale, will always require 7.4v which is 2 cell lipo. I think when you go up a scale to 8th brushless, you then start to get into 3 and 4 cell lipos.

Wouldn't say theres ay drawback.

Sorry about the videos I can't help making vids now, its sooooo easy on the mac.

Hope you can manage up to EK a few times at least, but Falkirk is a blast as well, with the weather the way it is just now, Falkirk is definately appealing for sunday afternoons.

Raymond.

Well i rekon i could make EK if i came late . I would miss the track build (i hate not helping) and maybe the first heat but could still make it for the rest

If i went 8th brushless which ive thought about. I would go with one of the RTR kits (probably the caster fusion or the LRP) If Jimmy P struggled with a reliable conversion then i have no hope LOL.

Ive been playing around with the video software stuff too but only windows movie maker so its not as pro looking as your stuff

Cheers mate
