Default b44.1 advise

Ive just got a b44.1 and copied paul bradburys rhr setup,hes useing the middle hole on plastic rear hubs,the kit came with ally ones and the instructions told me to put the A piece on them,so which hole equates to the middle hole on the plastic ones?
(im currently on the 3rd hole in from the wheel)

he uses plastic hubs because they have less play in the the alloy hubs

Bearing play in alloy ones
