Default Introducingmyself/ DB01R question

Hi all!

I just joined this forum and therefore would like to introduce myself: My name is Johannes, i live near Vienna in Austria/ Europe. I am a farmer and have lots of space left so i built my own race track about 10 years ago. My first Tamiya was a Tamiya Manta Ray, i still have a soft Spot for Tamiya cars today. After some Kyoshos and many many more Tamiyas i gave up RC when i was old enough to buy a 1:1 car.
Five years ago i discovered RC again and collect some of the old classics from Tamiya like Egress, Avante, Avante 2001, Top Force Evolution, plus some historic Touring Car Chassis like TRF414X, TRF414, TRF414M, TRF414MII, TRF414M WCR, TA04 TRF.
As prices for Spares (i race an Egress on my track) got higher and higher i started thinking about getting a modern Tamiya Race Car to race on my track. I came across the DB01R which seems to be a very good package and i will surely buy it after Christmas
So here is my first question: My track has loose soil, no clay, just loose top soil. Therefore tires are a big topic on my track especially as the much used Mini Spike tires donīt work ( i think) on loose soil. I need long Spikes:

The wheels for the DB01 are the same as on the TRF501X, TRF511, so 2.2" Is that right? There are some Proline tires, Losi tires and Schumachers that would fit. Since my Track has very loose soil i need Long Spike tires not the Mini Spike tires that all of the named manufacturers offer. I guess this is because mainly club racing tracks have very hard clay or dusty conditions. I only found some Spike tires from Schumacher but there is no ditributor here in Austria. Losi has a distributor but no Spike tires. Proline is available online but also has no Long Spikes.

What can i do? Do all of the 2.2" tires from Proline, Losi, Schumacher fit the Tamiya DB01 Wheels? Are there any other companies that might have Spike tires for me? Or am i completely wrong and should go for Tamiya original tires (Block) though i donīt think they have the Grip i need.

Also i would like to know what is the hardet and whatīs the softest of the Schumacher tires (they seem to be the best for my track)? Yellow, Green, Blue?

Has anyone got these Schumacher tires for sale if they fit to the DB01 wheels?

T652Full Spike - Front Tyres - Soft CAT

Thanks in advance for any answer!

Johannes

Welcome
Yes all 2.2 tyres should fit straight on the tamiya wheels (the trf and db01 wheels are the same parts) but I can't help with what would work best on that surface sorry.
