Ok folks, i've got a race meeting on sunday and realised I have no way of getting myself some yellow minispikes.
I was wondering how well do yellow fullspikes work on a rough grass/dirt track (its actually a 1/8th track), I also have a set of yellow minipins although I think they wouldnt penetrate the surface well enough to grip. I'll be running a losi XXX-4 G+ and a nova 4.5R brushless. Track pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Get some proline step pins and cut some if 4wd or ribs on 2wd for the front. They will be as good as you can get on wet clay. If it is dry then you may need proline bow ties

A few years ago they ran regionals but with lack of interest they havnt ran in a while
![]() 1/10th off-road is picking up down south, there is 2 new purpose built tracks within reasonable travelling distance (3hrs). So im gonna be racing there, the 4.5 might prove a bit hot for a traditional 1/10th track though. |
