Default Nosram ISTC repair

Hi Guys

Was rebuild the xx4 a few weeks ago now in the xx4 ive stuck the fan next to the speedo so it fits under the body. So took the speedo off and forgoot about the fan and its snapped the fan wires off where they are soldered to the fan. So im wondering where i can send it to be repaired. Can i pay schuamcher to either resolder the fan on or solder a new fan on. Or can anyone else do it??? Ive sent stuff off to derek bailey? before anyone got any contact info for him?

Why not just solder a new fan on yourself? You can get them separately and the soldering isn't rocket science...

You don't even need a new fan, trim the plastic back where the wires go into it and solder the wires back on with a fine tipped iron

You can get the fans apart to solder directly onto the board - i've done it a couple of times.

I know could do this but the fan isnt in the best of nic. Also dont want to really void my warrenty if i can help it. Ill give schuamcher a ring to see what they say. i dont mind paying 15 -20 quid if they will put a new fan on and it doesnt void my warrenty.
