When i was racing yonks ago, anything higher than a 22th pinion on my motor generated a fair bit of heat. So I got conservative and stuck a 19th in the new car (and it was the only one i could find at the time) But reading about, it looks like this could be too low.. motor is a losi 6.5.. Spur is just the Cat kit standard.. any recommendations for an indoor kinda size which will get decent economy?

I run a 23 tooth pinion on an 83 spur. Nice!
