Default B44 Gearing for Bury Indoors

Hi,

This will be my first time down at Bury this weekend. I'm running an LRP X12 7.5 motor in a B44, I've seen the track on youtube and the straight looks fairly long, any idea what would be a good starting ratio for gearing a 7.5 ?

Thanks
Raymond

im same as you just got myself a b44 its got a 4.5t in,not raced it yet and not ran indoor since early 90's.(think its changed a bit since then) im going to start with standard spare and 18 pinion.if i was you id start with say a 23 pinion.work round that.

try 23t or 24t on the standard 84t spur for your x12 7.5 should be about right depending on how much topend speed or acceleration you want.
