Default Tekin R1

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone uses this esc and how they rate it?

Having got the fx pro for my tam mini and being really impressed with it, thinking of a tekin for my 2wd losi now.

Kinda know that most people would probably run the sensored RS Pro, but as can get the above for £80 new, thought may as well see what it's like from you all.

Many Thanks
Matt

I have the R1 pro and it's backup esc :-)

not so smooth in starting as sensorred, but not very noticeable.

Would go for RS (not specifically pro) if it's 2wd racing, if it's not for racing R1 will be fine.

I ran the RS for a national season prior to the RS being released and its ok, but as cooper said it's not as smooth on start up. During the time i ran it the software improved loads though so it should be even better by now.

If you plan on racing its worth considering spending a little more and getting an RS though.

Cheers for replies guys

Tbh I think you've confirmed what I was thinking, as I would be using it to race with, so yeah, will keep an eye out for an rs/rs pro.

Many Thanks
matt
