Default Painting Plastic

What would you guys use, got to be durable, also wondering if Faskolor can be used, with a lacquer, to give it a gloss finish??

faskolor works on the out side, you will need a suitable lacquer

got anything you can recomend, carl?? And will the surface need scuffing first?

i scotchbrited mine before painting,i used Createx Gloss Top Coat 2oz (60ml) Ref: AC-CTX-5604-02 from everythingairbrush dot com make sure u dust of the last coat of paint i used a kitchen tissue cloth to smooth it off,

scuff, degrease, optional step of adhesion promotor, prime (i use upol acid etch on abs plastic, sand with 600 then paint. ive used 2k clear over createx before with no problems.

Jon, what make of paints do you generally use?
for most applications?

depends on the job in hand tel. at the minute the ones in my stock are faskolor, createx, auto air, autoborne, wicked colors, etac, hok, spaz stix, alclad, com art, golden. upol for primer atm and ive got some lechler for clear.
for rc its mainly createx with a bit of spaz stix

yup, theyve got the nasties in em.
got a new workspace now along with an air fed setup so can use em with a degree of safety thankfully.
