Default Is it allowed to compete with a Dark Impact?

As the title says, is it allowed to participate in 4WD race-class with a Dark Impact? I really would like to compete and if it's OK I would start to compete with my DI. And if I really like it maybe later when I have money buy a better buggy. So what do you think?

as long as it complies to the rules (width, length, weight etc) there isn't a problem.
