Default battery charger recommendations

Can someone please recommend a good battery charger which can aswell as charge and discharge also balance charge and also run in motors.
I will be mostly useing it for a mardave raceing but also intend to do touring cars ect
cheers for any help
cheaper the better lol

Mardave = 4 cell nimh
Touring car = 2 cell lipo
i think so its best to go for the charger and balancer posted above

For that combination of requirements try and find an LRP Pulsar 3 and get yourself a decent seperate balancer like the Trakpower or the non-chargethrough yuntong one.

That's the only charger which will do Lipo and NiMh properly and have the motor run-in feature which I can think of off the top of my head. Much more chargers are nice too but watch out with the lipo charge rate. Some only do one amp...

Orion Advantage Carbon Edition does everything you need.

Charges/discharges/cycles 1 - 8 cells (nimh)
Charge/discharge between 1 - 10 amps
Charges 2S Lipo's
Motor run in function (adjustable voltage/time)
