Question LOSI JRX2

I just did a search for a LOSI JRX2, and got to this site. I have no clue what I am working with since I was just given the car, 12 motors, 6 bodies, and a bunch of misc accesories. Anyway, after reviewing the manual that is posted here I have a better clue. I ran the car hard after I had a new battery pack made, and ended up burning (shredding) up the 48 pitch diff gear. Without so much as anyone making replacement parts anymore, I've tried retrofitting some other nylon gears, and still same result. My question is does anyone know where I can find the 48 pitch diff gear, or is there someone who has done a mod on the diff that caan help me out. I have someone cutting a different set of gears (steel) on a CNC, but would really like to find a reliable source for replacement parts if needed. I am into planes and heli's, and this being my only car (right now) I'd like to work with it till I can be proficient. Thanks for any help in advance.
John

Dude stop running it!!!

I nearly cried when I read the bit about you running it hard and all that. Clean it, store it, save it. Buy yourself another car to bash about with but please do not inflict any more pain on the car!

Must agree on this one. I've restored an old xx-cr and the parts for that were lets say "difficult" to get.

store your jrx like a shelf queen

We still have loads of older JRX2/Pro SE type spur gears still in stock plus several older spares and parts for cars of that era (JRX2, Pro SE, XX etc)

Just this weekend we have added a load of old Losi decal sheets to our "sale" page online, today we are adding tyres from Losi and more will follow soon too

I am pleased to see some responses. Got some questions about storing it. I am not the only one who ran it hard. The person I got it from raced it. Have the plaques and trophies to prove it. I'll get some pictures up later this evening. Any suggestions about another basher? Been looking at the 1/16 E-Revo from Traxxas. I figure if I can handle a turbine jet doing 200 plus in a 3D environment I can handle a car doing 30- 50 plus in a 2D environment.

I just visited both your websites, and did not find the correct gear or differential balls. The original numbers are as follows:

Diff Gear: A3006
Balls : A3009

I noticed another number for the 3/32 diff balls, so I'm wondering if there is a cross reference between the newer parts. I know the gear is a 48 pitch with 48 teeth, don't know the OD since it was shredded. I am wanting to put the stock parts back in her before she becomes a shelf queen.
