Default NNRC Winter series Round 1

Ding Ding Round 1

Just a quick line for all you frustrated racers that need your fix this weekend,

NNRC is holding the first round of the winter series this coming Sunday at the fantastic NNRC track near Preston Lancs.

Quote:
You may book in on the day. Last booking in 09:00hrs Sharp. No exceptions.

Drivers briefing at 09:00. All Drivers must attend the briefing.

No engines before 09:00. Track open for practice after the briefing.

Hoping to get the first of at least three rounds of qualifying away at 10.00.

Finals for all. Truggys/Buggys B 20 mins, A 20 mins.

New drivers to the sport can be provided with a pit buddy for the day to help you with how the meeting runs and general technical help for the day, please ask at race control.

Food and drinks are available trackside all day, and there is a small trackside shop supplied by J E Spares, so if anybody has any particular requests please contact Ryan @ J E Spares and he will accomodate

Before booking in can you all please note that we are going to be running the winter series on controled tyres for the Buggy class, these will be:-

Wet - Schumacher Spirals http://www.jespares.com/radio-contro...ir-yellow.html

Dry - Schumacher mini pins http://www.jespares.com/radio-contro...llow-pair.html

These will be available at a special price for this series at £9 a pair, I should have 10 set's of spirals with me this Sunday or you can order through JE Spares. Please note that for the lower price, you must call JE Spares to order (0845 643 2387).

If you can't get hold of any Schumacher spirals for this weekend Angle spikes can be used.

Here are the planned winter series dates. Best 5 of 6 to count.

Round 1 = 25th October
Round 2 = 22nd November
Round 3 = 6th December
Round 4 = 31st Jan 2010
Round 5 = 28th Feb 2010
Round 6 = 21st March 2010.

THE WINTER SERIES WILL ALSO BE OPEN FOR NON MEMBERS WITH POINTS BEING AWARDED TOWARDS THE NNRC WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP
Dont be too concered with the tyre choice as these two particular tyres are the ones to go for at NNRC anyway, and as above NON MEMBERS will get points towards the winter championship, so you, YES YOU, could win the winter series and grab a top prize.
