Default Carson E-Stormracer 4wd, any good?

One of my friends is thinking about starting racing and has found this on the internet, does anybody know if this is only suitable for the street or off road. The spec seems ok, slipper clutch as standard etc for only £69.00p. Goldstar stockist in Stevenage are selling them. I've told him to buy a good second hand 4wd from this site, if he is thinking about racing properly.

4WD with universal drive shafts ∙ 1/10 scale ∙ fully ball-raced ∙ oil shock absorbers with tuned springs ∙ slipper clutch ∙ track and camber adjustable ∙ Big Wheel tyres completely glued with inserts ∙ extremely low centre of gravity ∙ pivot ball wheel suspension front and rear ∙ bevel gears font and rear ∙ bevel differential front and rear ∙ pre-assembled.

no, cant get the spares, i had one and gave it away as couldnt gear it for anything more than a 27 or heat probs would occur and when i tried to get the option parts no hope, a df02 is a similar to look at chassis, so if thats what you want buy that or just get a madrat for less cash as its a lot better.
