seem to have confused myself completley at the moment my esc and motor are very hot, rather than just dropping down on the pinnion should i also fit a larger spur to combat this?
as i dont want to loose to much speed as its going great at the mo just getting very hot, cheers |

Best thing to do chief is re-post the thread in the section that is specific to your car.
Explain what car & electrics you have and what gearing you are on now. Someone will probably be able to help then.

I would gear down on the spur i would try 15/50 on a big track and a smallish track i would try 13/14/50 (thats if its a mardave)

no it was on some carson buggy that was just so over geared as stock to give it more go with a kit 540 gave it away in the end
