Default brushless motor

hey just wondering if you can run a brushless motor with out the sensor wire?

If it's a sensored brushless, don't run it without a sensor wire for god's sake, it could ruin your motor

Yes you can run a sensored motor without a sensor lead. Just don't put the ESC in sensored mode.

The sensors just tell the ESC where the rotor is, they have no bearing on the motor working as a motor.

I know many people who run Tekin T8 motors (sensored) on Castle Creations Mamba Monsters ESCs (sensorless).
