They grumbled, but the fact remains that it was in the cars with the most speed, and it was noticeably faster than others. However, it was also in the cars of the fastest drivers, and there were some cars that were as fast in a straight line, but lost out in the corners.
Hupo Honigl was fourth in 13.5 without a BD speedo, and didn't look much slower. However, he won in Modified without a BD, and there were less BD-powered cars in that A Final. It looks like it has an advantage in 13.5/17.5 (for now!) but that was in the flyweight pan car classes. In TC, and in Modified pan-car, it wasn't such a big deal. Seemed to me that since we run 10.5 and Mod over here in pan-car, the Tekin and new LRP were a match for the BD. Not something I am going to lose any sleep over, expecially since when Tekin work it out, we'll get new software from free!!! ![]() |
