well just finished my MBX5 Brushless conversion, quite happy with it im just waiting for the Caster esct mount as its got a home made one on at the moment and I need a new switch as the mounting holes have broken

Nice, just make sure you have cooling holes in the bodyshell. I'd open up:

To quote an annoying set of adverts: 'Every little helps...'
Things can really heat up on the track, if you've only given it a run in the street/park etc and haven't raced it yet, you'll find that the temperatures get much higher when racing. |

Will give it a try at Clanfield Saturday practising see how hot she gets. Can always add holes there see how many I need

That's it really, 'see how it goes', no-one likes to drill a load of holes in a new shell. I'd still be tempted to open the front and rear of the shell a little for some cooling.

I'd guess it's a 36-60-2000 Medusa, so 2000kV.
Lambchops: Where did you get your batteries, ESC and motor? They look strangely familiar to me. As does the soldering job on the battery. |

yep its all done, runs like a dream!! Its just so easy to use no messing around with fuel and starter boxes. I love it!! Did my first race in the electric class at clanfield on sunday and went very well. I would recommend the conversion!!
