Default driveshaft pin fitting/removing tool

driveshaft/dogbone end pin remover and refitting tool for most 1/8th buggys/truggys

i can do 2 different versions that work with 3mm drivepins for most dogbones using a 3mm(2.95) pin.

either a spanner and 6mm hardened allen bolt type or a push type that would go in the vice (which needs to open to 70mm)
or you could hit the plunger with a hammer altho not tried myself!!

simply insert the drive shaft into the slot and press the old drive pin into the hole, this is a snug fit so the driveshaft stays true and wont wobble.

insert the bolt with the small dimple and tighten down until it pushes the pin as far as the bolt allows, remove bolt and insert the other bolt with the new drive pin inserted inside it and tighten down and it automatically pushes the old pin out and inserts the new pin.

the new drive pin is again a snug fit into the bolt so it goes in true.

£22 plus £1.50 recorded delivery postage.

im doing them made to order and ..much cheaper than the hudy tool so let me know if anyone needs any, they will work with any driveshaft using the 3mm pins which is just about all of the current cars i think, ive certainly changed losi, xray and hotbodies pin using this tool and xray pins.
