Default EOS Finals

Ok here is a thread for the End of Season Finals.
I know the South East has a HUGE team going, but I want to know who you are???
I am doing the Veterans, hoping to repeat my glory of last year, but it's gonna be tough!!!
Also if anyone needs anything for this meeting please let us know, we are already providing a couple of 2wd's for the Bates, anyone else need anything??? Everyone sorted for tyres???
I will be camping and it would be good to get all the SE team pitting close together so we can help each other and plan for our meeting domination!!!!
If you need anything just ask!!!!

you beat me to it DC! I was going to suggest pitting together if possible.

I have a couple of old packs of cells i may be able to lend out, need to see if they cycle up ok first. possibly have a couple of brushed motors also. can probably scrape up some part worn yellows too which should be ok if the track is dry and grippy. Hopefully some of that may be of use to some of the juniors.

Some of you may have seen my recent email?
There's good news and there's bad!

Subsequent to my mail Charlie Fraser (Section Secretary) has confirmed that ALL those individuals that have CONFIRMED (and/or paid for) their entries as of yesterday evening have a place at the Juniors/Veterans/BRC's event at Kidderminster with one exception

We are oversubscribed by ONE Veteran in the 2WD class!
I know some individuals are struggling to obtain resources I'm therefore asking for one volunteer to fall on their RC 2WD sword as it were?

Dependant on us securing that volunteer our confirmed entries currrently look like this:

U13 - 2WD - 7, 4WD - 7
U16 - 2WD - 4, 4WD - 5
Vets - 2WD - 5, 4WD - 6
BRC - 2WD - 12, 4WD - 12

A fantatsic effort by everybody concerned and it's a great shame that somebody has to miss out in just the one class

Any volunteers should notify me either by phone, PM or email ASAP, thanks.

Default volunteer drop out!

As I do not have my own 2wd, although donor sourced, I will volunteer to be the 'drop out', if we can't hold Charlie Prisoner to ransom! ( After all we are travelling a long way to support this event!!)

Andy Bate
Andy,
Thanks very much for the very generous offer! I do appreciate how very much everybody wants to compete at this event!
Spoke to Mr. Moon yesterday evening and he was preparing himself to fall on his 2WD sword as it were but I was reluctant to accept his offer considering the huge effort that he, along with very many others, has made in pooling such a massive entry

Please be assured that in my discussions with Charlie F yesterday evening we agreed that should a place become available then the honorable SE Veteran that has withdrawn would be 1st reserve and would be offered that place So watch this space for any developments in the next few days.

Also during my discussions I managed to secure another U13 place in both classes, as requested by Mr. Moon for Mark Revell, so our provisional entry list now looks like this:

U13 - 2WD - 8, 4WD - 8
U16 - 2WD - 4, 4WD - 5
Vets - 2WD - 5, 4WD - 6
BRC - 2WD - 12, 4WD - 12

Total - 2WD - 29, 4WD - 31

Amazing! Simply Amazing Thanks!

Mr Church,

All 12 of the Faversham drivers that are going will be camping on site on both nights ie Friday and Saturday nights. My question to you is whats the score with this ie how much room is there to set up our mini village of tents and what about supermarkets in the local area regards supplies.

Anythink else along these lines that anybody could let us know about would be most welcome.

Kind regards Alan, head of the Faversham expedition to the unknown.

Hi Alan, been away so sorry for the delay in replying!!!
I am gonna be there Friday early and will save loads of room for the SE team!!! There is plenty of room as long as we pit sensibly.
There is a supermarket close by, and fuel stations, there will also be a burger van.
I have loads of inserts and will have some tyres as well.
Lets go kick some butt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsu p:

best to speak to the north west regional rep then, but i think it's full up. you can obviously put your name down as a reserve
