Default Sanwa Exzes 2.4

Hi all, couple of quick questions for anyone using one:

1. On pics the sticks look at funny angles, are these adjustable?

2. Presumably on the receivers (441) there's a plug for plugging a battery straight in?

3. Are they discontinued, really difficult to find!

4. Is the range good, for running on large 8th tracks?

Hi,

I've got the super exzes with a 2.4 module. (dsss) The sticks are at a nice angle in line with the movement of your thumb. But I'm pretty sure you can change it.

There are 5 'connectors' on the DSSS receiver .... throttle , steering, aux, BRK and BAT.

I run 1/10 electric but haven't had any range issues...

I think the current exzes plus comes with a FHSS module and receiver; bear this in mind as I don't think the two are compatable.

My son runs one with the spektrum pro module .. again no problems ....

Ian

The angle of the sticks are adjustable, as well as the length.

So is the FHSS a newer version of the DSSS?

I do believe so ; however ..

mine are TM-221DS/RX441DS

there's now a TM-222DS/RX442DS

and the newer FHSS models.

There's also the 'airtronics' (US) equivalents

(available on a certain auction site) (am i allowed to mention that?)

Good god, its a bit off putting having so many options!! Maybe I'll stick to Futaba after all!!

In fact, on the airtronics site the exzes shows as discontinued!

Why would you move away from Futaba?

ianjoyner: the receivers (2.4gHz) have a tendancy to fail more than any other brand at the moment.
