Okay... So I feel a little silly. Due to the way I routed my LRP Sphere TC ESC, the receiver cable's surrounding plastic shrouding has become damaged. The copper wire itself is undamaged. I've obviously now re-routed the cable so that it won't become damaged again.
Basically; I've wrapped some electrical tape around it, but it looks not only unsightly, but like it will just cause more damage if not repaired. The problem is... I have no idea what to do! Any advice would be welcome. Thank you. Julius. |

U can solder a new wire on at the circuit board but its very risky and a small soldering iron is required and you will probably void your warrenty. Contact SMD and ask them, they will probably replace the wire for you.

Unclip the pin of the damaged wire from the plug and then heatshrink it.

Cheers guys. Unplugged the pins and heat-shrunk as advised. Looks fine for a while. But I may still send it off whilst I'm not desperate for it to get it sorted.
Thank you. |
