I think it should be clear that its more of an idea for a get together to ride and enjoy riding, not a test of skill...

all levels welcome

I think some ooplers might take offence to the suggestion that they need excercise

I bought a pretty pricey MTB in july, as a more interesting alternative to the gym. I managed to get 2 proper rides in on it before breaking a rib whilst karting

I've got some of the best trails in europe practically on my doorstep, so once that pesky rib is healed....

I have a Klein Palamino gathering dust in my garage alongside the slightly more used but less fancy Marin Muirwoods. Really should ride more, but I only really get Sundays to do stuff like that, and what do you know, I race toy cars instead!

Sadly I've recently sold the cool DH/Freeride stuff cos I'm just not going to the Alps like I used to. Had a Marin Quake and a Scott Nitrous. Awesome over there, but too much like hard work anywhere without a ski lift.
