HONG NOR CUP 2009 WEEKEND SCHEDULE RELEASED

Please may i ask all drivers not to get on site till 2.00p.m on Saturday 29TH AUGUST .This allows the team to get as much done as we possibly can before taking time out to allocate you all the camping space you will require;

May i also ask for all drivers to be polite,patient upon arrival you will see Lisa or myself and we will allocate you the camping spaces so please be patient as we can only deal with 1 unit arriving on site at a time;

SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST;

It is a day of everybody arriving and getting setled in and getting familar with where everything is and having a walk around the track and getting to know everyone and generally socializing;

I DO NOT WANT ANY RUNNING OF CARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whether this is out on the track,camping area,surrounding fields, and roads IF ANYONE IS FOUND RUNNING ANY CARS THEY WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE MEETING;

This is due to this event is a family event and i do want any runing cars that may cause a accident to a child or a adult also this is due to Health & Safety Reasons;

So do not ask to use the track either AS REFUSAL OFTEN OFFENDS;

You may run cars on pit tables starter boxes but NOT ON THE GROUND;

In the evening the TWO HENRY;S Pub which is 5 minutes walking distance from the track has a beer festival on all weekend with entertainment so it will be all across to the pub to have a few beers if you wish and chill out ready for the Sunday;They also offer a extended range of good quality food at reasonable prices they also have a playbarn for the kids to play when the mom;s & dad;s relax;

Around 4.30pm on the Saturday i would like to ask all drivers that are on site to come and book in please this will enable me to sort out heats,frequencies etc,,, also saves a bit of time on the Sunday morning;

MAKE SURE YOU ALL BRING THOSE VALID BRCA LICENECES WHICH WILL BE ASKED TO BE SHOWN AT PRIOR BOOKING IN PLEASE;



SUNDAY 30th AUGUST;


I would like to get Drivers Briefing up and running around 8.00 am PLEASE first heat of pratice on the line at 8.30a.m

A few of you think this is early well unfortunally due to having a entry of over 100 drivers it gives me no option but to get things started this time as got alot to get through in the course of the day;

The day will run as follows;

1 HEAT OF PRATICE FOR ALL DRIVERS
4 - 5 HEATS OF QUALIFYING DEPENDS ON TIME ALLOWANCE


SUNDAY EVENING;

We have hired the function room which again is 2mins walking distance from the track ( May be twice as long for the walk back) along with a disco and karoke ESPECIALLY FOR;

And anyone else who wishes to join to make the teams up fierce competition setting in this year i feel

There is a licensed bar also provided

THERE WILL BE THE FOLOWING PROVIDED;

Orange squash
Blackcurrant Squash
Crisps
Sweets

Just to make sure all age groups are catered for so mom;s & dad;s no need to worry about the children they will be all sorted for the evening;

MONDAY 31ST AUGUST;

After everybody awoke from the evening before with chronic hangovers,bad heads and very dry mouths the day will begin as follows;

Drivers Briefing 8.00 A.M

First heat of pratice on line 8.30 A.M

Then straight into the running of the finals

The day will follow on running finals all through the day;

When all the finals are finished the trophy presentation will begin with trophies for 1st,2nd,3rd places for each final along with the raffle that all the prizes has kindly been donated SMD & Hong Nor; May i take this oppurtunity to thank Jamie Booth Jo Joyce SMD and also along with Hong Nor for the fantastic donation of all the raffle prizes;

I am trying my hardest to get some topless barmaids but cannot find anyone who is willing to do it and i have not enough up front to keep you all entertained


Once again may myself and all of East Shrewsbury Racing Club thankyou for all your continued support for this event and all what is left for me to say;
