Depends on what you want really, quite a few parts are scarce since the Euro's - seems the 511 has increased significantly in popularity.

What are you looking for? The 511 aluminium parts are practically impossible to find though.

Stella, RC Mart and RC Mushroom in HK have various 501X parts that are interchangable with the 511.

try looking under db01 not trf511, a lot of the trf511 parts are upgrade parts for a db01

Good suggestion, even Tamiya themselves haven't worked out the TRF511 hopups on the website, you have to use the DB01 bits!

well mainly the normal breakable items, as well as drive train parts.

are the arms, shock towers, belts, pulleys the same off the 501x worlds?

or at least, are the db01 arms the same?

trf511 arms are classed as db01 high traction arms, belts, pulleys, shock towers are the same as the 501x we, you could also use the db01/501x wishbones(arms) they are just stronger, the only other thing to watch out for is the front hub carriers and uprights are different, you need the ones for the wo driveshafts, hope this helps.

Some of the "hard to find" parts (susp. mounts etc.) can be found here:

+1 to all the above and you can browse the site below for compatible parts and numbers (then you can search auctions sites and other online stores).

Be careful though, this catalogue has some interesting errors in the four pages of parts. lol
