Default Gearing Advice

Hi All,

Am just after a starting point for a 12x1 (brushed) motor. Anyone got a good starting point to work from?

Probably about 10.5:1. When I used to run 12 turns in 4wd I was running then between 11:1 and 10.5:1, 2wd has less drivetrain drag so can stand a bigger gear without cooking the motor.

K, i've been out of racing for a while, how do I use that ratio to get the spur and pinion size (sorry, I know am being dense)

(Spur/Pinion)*Internal Ratio = Overall Ratio.
