Default Losi Xcelorin S

What are your experiences with this ESC? It is very cheap, but is it as smooth/good/reliable as LRP and Speed Passion?

Default Losi ESC

I've been running two since May with Xcelorin S 6.5T motor in my B4's and no problem so far. The fan on top of the ESC is too high for a standard B4 shell so I run the ESC without a fan attached and no overheating issues so far.

The quick program board is useful but unfortunately you can't change acceleration settings with it, so I generally program the ESC via my laptop which is a simple process. I also updated the ESC firmware and this was straightforward (I know others in the past have mentioened they had problems with upgrades).

Never run LRP/Speed Passion so can't compare.

Cheers Tony

I ran an LRP Vector X12 7.5T on my Xcelorin S ESC this weekend and it was as smooth as silk. The Hall sensor cable is common between the LRP and Xcelorin.
