Default ok im sure this has been asked before

right i have been given a few packs of reedy 3700 mached cells however after i have charged them they are not peforming with them going flat after like 2 mins of runtime. i have been told they have been sat for a long time before i had them what can i do to revive them back to full life my discharge try should be with me tommorow if this will help.

any advice will be helpfull as i need them for weds night really.

First of all equalise.

Second try a low rate charge (1A), repeaking if it cuts off, but monitoring cell temps too (no more than 45C).

Once the cells peak and they are warm, discharge and equalise again.

Do these cycles a few times and the cells should be back to life. Don't expect them to be any good after such a long time stored though, but might be usable for practice/club nights.

cycle for a few time's. Charge at 1a 1st time discharge and then recharge at 1.5a ect and keep going till there back up to top spec.

thanks allot i will try it i have one on a slow charger i will charge that at 150ma till its done and i will try the other on 1 amp starting again after every false peek

how low is your cutt off on your charger set at?
mine's at 5mv charged at 5amp

ok just got a pulsar 2 and when charging the cells seem to get very warm and i have once heard a hiss sound is this them venting i dont see any peformance difference after this the charger is set to 5mv cutoff charged at 4 amps
