Default MSN problems

I keep having messages going missing, be chatting on MSN, then it will go quiet, as a mate (yes, I have some lol) will send a few messages, and they don't get to me.

It isn't my comp, as it happens on my comp and laptop.

It isn't my internet at home, as it happens if I am out with the latop, and on someone's WiFi.

Any ideas?

I had the exact same problems time and time again a few months back. Its not your fault at all, its MSN's servers.

The best thing to do is switch to yahoo messenger. You can still add all your msn friends and talk to them that way, even though they may be on msn but your on yahoo. The 2 messengers are interfaced to each other.

Or better still switch to skype.....

dude, did you not read my first post, I said it wasn't a computer hardware, or install issue, as it happens on both my pc and laptop, on LNA and Wifi (local and random wifi), so was trying to find if anyone has had it, and how it was solved?
