Default HHHEEELLLPPP LRP brushless problems!!!

hi, i have the LRP sphere 2007 edition with an LER vector x11 7.5 motor. For a very long time this has been out of action because it seems to glitch VERY badly. I have replaced the sensor cable, tried different transmitters and crystals, batteries and still no luck. half the time, when the motor is in one position yellow and red lights flash at the same time and the motor dowsnt move, then i move the shaft in the motor and it spins but even on a trim acceleration, it will seem to speed up and slow down violently, with LOTS of random flashing lights. Sometimes it will randomly get locked on full power and other times the brakes dont do anything. As far as i'm aware, i have done nothing wrong because i havent pluged it in wrong or anything like that...My mate from the club has tested my motor and said he can't see anything wrong with it so what do i do???

cheers

was it new,if so you should be covered, just try reprograming it,press the mode button for 3sec then put all your settings in and see if that sorts it out, also make sure nothing is stuck in the hole where the mode buttons are as this will make it run through all the programs as soon as you turn it on,also just make sure your throttle trim is in neutral,it could be that you have max auto brake on the speedo and the trim is setting it off

sounds like a faulty sensor inside the motor, have you tried another motor on the speedo??

Hi fella

I had this problem with one of my lrp spheres

sounds exactly the same problem , if so the fets have gone inside, when you connec it your battery wires will probably get hot as well as the top of the speedo itself

it may do the same but cant say for sure, id send it back personally

Mine did that, on Jamie at SMD's advice I opened the endbell and wiped the sensor with a cotton bud soaked in motor spray. Been working fine ever since.....
