Default Something for the weekend!

Hello all,

My first post!

I'm looking for a reliable electric buggy for bashing around the park and on tarmac.

I've had a few leccys over the years.

It must take a side by side battery pack (I've got a few) so that rules out most Tamiyas.

I'm thinking b4, xxxcr, mad rat, or something.

Would trade for a very good condition Tamiya Hummer or Hobao Pirate 1/10 touring car.

I'm on the Wirral.

Any suggestions?

I suppose an insane brushless system would be a good idea too!!

Great Forum!

Steve

Hi mate,

Best thing to do is go to your local club and ask around and see what others are running, most people will let you have a blast of their cars so you can try them out and decide for yourself..

Only thing is with a thread like this, people will often tell you to get the car they drive so its best to try as many as you can.

Ive driven 3 of them, the B4, the Losi XXXCR and the XFactory X6... All very good cars in different ways, it depends on you driving style really

Hope this has helped you? feel free to Pm me if i need to clear something up

Tom

the madrat seems a good bargain! There are just a small few teething problems at the moment as with all new cars!

Id say B4's are the most widely available cars at a good price 2nd hand, Losi's tend to be a bit harder to get hold of as are X-6's..

You could always try looking on the net for a secod hand one and of course check the the for sale section on here!

So it's down to a new mad rat plus BB set for £60
Or a used b4/xxxcr for around £60 (anyone got one for sale?)
Which would you go for?
