Default recommendations on brushless motors

hi guys

looking for a new brushless motor what do people think to the losi ones compared to the lrp/nosram and the novak ones i know people will say what there using is very good but has anybody used the losi and lrp motors and how do they compare

basically the losi ones are near enough half the price of the others thats why i am wondering if the any good or should i just save the money and stick with lrp/novak

cheers paul

Big for LRP motors from me. Although I race on-road, I've used an LRP X11 10.5 for about a year, and it's still fast. With the current software on either LRP or Tekin speedos, it still keeps up with the so-called latest motors from almost everyone.

If I get beaten for speed it's usually because someone else has better software and found the sweetspot for that track. That's not very often! Yes, they might be a tad dearer, but for motors I'll not look elsewhere. Mind you, if it carries on like this, I won't need to look at all!! LRP all the way for me...

I found the LRP a bit poor... cooked 2 () before I saw the light! Novak all the way for me dude... 5.5 lite in the B4 at the mo'... it's da bomb! I also run Novak in the snouring car... they really are very good with a big gearing window before the temps get silly...

anyway for the price of one lrp motor i could buy two of the losi ones near enough so really just wanted to know anybody that has used both and what they are like

I have never run LRP/nosram motors or novak motors. I used to run the orion/peak motors and they where ok but recently changed to the losi motors and there awsome highly recomend them.

Another vote for Losi motors from me too, less than £50 and no problems yet!
