# Personally, I do not understand the rational behind the exchangeable windings. After all, in a motor you pay essentially for 2 things :
1) a good amount of relatively expansive metal(copper winding) 2) an expansive rotor/magnet (the rotor) What is the point having several windings but only one case? >If it's cost, take a look at the price of ballistic vs velocity. Then wait for the price of a winding, won't be cheap(includes solder tabs, includes winding iron plates core. >Then add on top of that the time it will take to change winding (I spend enough time already just pulling one motor out of the car & putting another one). >Then on top of that the amount of people that will damage their neodenium rotor when removing it from the winding cartridge(scratching it against the cartridge or any other metal around) >Then on top of that the amount of customers that will loose the precise alignement achieved in the motor factory # According to their website, velociti stays alongside ballistic # According to people on american forums, ballictic are not preferred

I don't understand it, its all arse about tit... they annonced these long before they were available to anyone atall, which really is not like Novak - and now they are out, but not BRCA legal.
I really like the R series motors, but for raw savage power go for Speed Passion when it is required.. |
