Default Races in the U.K winter season

Hi Guys!
I am thinking of going to the U.K a couple of times the upcoming winter and participate in some races like the Schumacher cup etc. I need some pointer though. Not looking to enter every event but if there is a "must just have raced it" race. What would that be?
1. How many cups and any of them near the London area?
2. The license issue? Have Swedish national licence at the time. Enough?
3. Are all efra lipos allowed?
4. Wed sites to the different cups.
5. Tyres, Schumasher minipin or minispike all the way?

Any additional information you think I need, please don't hesitate to inform me. I will do this to bring back home since the offroad scene in radicly increesing up here as well. Everything I can learn, I am greatfull for.

Se you this winter I bring a Durango and an Ultima RB5 SP..or a C2 by Oldtimer depending if avalible

Hello, well if i were you i would look for the petit event which is on here somewhere and pm nicholas and see if you can get entry. However this event is in gillingham in kent so one hours drive from london. One of the best indoor events in europe and the last one had some of the best drivers as well. Its a two day event

Eden Park usually host a winter series and is one of the best tracks in the country. Definitely try and attend a round there if you can. It's in south east London.

Thanks! That is perfect. No problems if the races are a couple of hours away from London. Just have to get used too the idea of driving on the wrong side of the road.

Yes I forgot that. Sorry

Petit is on carpet with big jumps etc and is a cracking event.

Eden Park Raceway is an outdoor astro turf and is also one of the best tracks in the UK.

i would imagine you should be fine to enter it. It's not an official BRCA event so they won;t run to BRCA lipos, an Efra Lipo should be fine. Not 100% sure on the BRCA license issue though. PM Nicholas as suggested and he can hopefully let you know what happened at the last event.
If it is on carpet then it will be minipins for sure.

The popular Schumacher Indoor Masters series is held at worksop throughout the winter months, more information can be found here:

It's probably about a 3 hour drive north from London? I'm not sure about the rules re: license, it isn;t a BRCA event, you could PM Muzzy on here for more information.

You're allowed 3 meetings without a BRCA license before you need to get one.

It's a good idea to get one as it means you will be insured even after you've done 3 meetings in the UK, and it's only cheap, about 20 euros so not worth not having one if you're gonna come all the way.

Petit RC and Players are one-off 2 days events and it'll be worth coming down for these, and well worth the trip.

@ all reply(ers)
Thanks. Looks like the Petit and players are the two races I will attend hopefully. Probably one more. Have been thinking of this for some time now and this winter it will happen. Why?, because I want to relive those days when it looked like this back in the day here in Sweden. A lot of races and huge starting fields. We are getting there again slowly. I am no A finalist but just the feeling of going there will be worth it.
