Default Schumacher CAT 2000 EC and Lazer ZXR

Hi, i recently picked up a Schumacher CAT 2000 EC and Kyosho Lazer ZXR from a work colleague. They are both complete but i'm in the process of stripping them down and restoring them. They both need new wheels, tires and bodysets, but the CAT has the front belt pulley tensioner missing (U1512z i think!!). I would love to run both of them soon and was wondering if i need the tensioner or can anyone point me in the right direction as to where i can get one? I have tried Schumacher direct but obviously it's discontinued!
I have also sent the gold shocks from the Lazer and my old Turbo Optima MID to be re-anodized as i can't find new originals.

P.S there are pictures of both cars here:

Nice Cat! I'm not running the tensioner on my Cat '98 and never have done. Even on (mild) brushless power the front belt doesn't slip, and belts last forever. I suspect the one way helps with this. Rear belt life isn't nearly as good, but Schumacher have good stock of those and indeed most breakable parts from the Cat 2000 series except front belts!

About the Lazer...

Original tyres an front wheels are still available from kyosho:
- w5631 front tyres
- w5641 rear tyres
- w5026 front wheels

Rear wheels are more difficoult to find because no longer in production, but it is possible that some shop still has some of them (maybe I can sell a new set, but I have to complete my Zx-r restoration first ):
- w5027 rear wheels

For the body we have to wait the Kamtec repro .... hope that will be available the next year.
The decals can be buyed from this guy http://www.vintage-rc.org/forum/view...p=61692#p61692 .

And for the gold shocks .... I' quite sure you spent a lot less than buying a new set a kyosho germany (or italy) !!!
- w-5001 front shocks (http://www.kyosho.de/?page=shop%2Fpr...&search=w-5001)
- w-5002 rear shocks (http://www.kyosho.de/?page=shop%2Fpr...&search=w-5002)

Bye

Mmmmm ... let me thinking .

Yes, I need a couple of TEAM LINE blue front castor block for the racer that I will build after the restoration project will be completed !!

More seriously, once that the restoration will be done, I will check exactly what I need and let you know something (however I'm sure that I didn't have anything blue, so please don't sell all blue parts to welshy )

Bye
