Hi,
As above really. I have a xxx4 which i bought about 6 years ago and have never used. Shame to waste it, and as there is a club which races touring cars about 200 yards from my house i thought i would convert it. Off the top of my head i think i will need: F&R wishbones Drive shafts Shorter turnbuckles F&R shocks and towers Body shell and mounts, but think i'll worry about these later. Wheels and tyres i have a source for. Am i mad for doing this? Dave (yes, a newbie ![]() |

chassis, belt, pulley for diffs,hubs front and rear,thats just about a full car i think lol

Hi, thanks for the quick reply!
Not questioning you, but why would i need a new chassis, belts, pullies etc?? Maybe the wheelbase on the 'real' xxx-s is different, but the xxx4's is only a few mm longer than most touring cars, so a bodyshell should fit once the width is taken care of. Understand the hubs if they're smaller than the xxx4's tho. ![]() I did read somewhere that the xxx4 is based on the xxx-s, so i'd have thought that it couldn't be that different? Dave |

probably better to sell the xxx4 and then buy a xxx-s, cheaper too.
or see if anyone wants a swap |
