Anyone know of any good connectors like deans that have 3 contatcs ? With brushed motors I used corally's & tubes on the motors / speedo to allow me to change motors wihtout soldering, I'd like to do the same with brushless, but 3 lots of wires with tubes and 3 corally's on the speedo would be messy, much better to have something like a deans with 3 plugs, is there such a thing ?

if your using a brushless motor system, are you reali going to be taking the motor out alot?
there are enuf wires as it is, adding unnessasary connectors wont leave you with much space. |

Just thought it would be nice to be able to try running different ones for different tracks without soldering.

I have thought about this, mainly to allow 'quick change' B4 rear shock tower.
sadly I don't have a solution... does not help you really, sorry about that. |

Here's a real cheapskate way of doing it.
You could always glue 2 deans connectors side by side. Do the same with the female, using the male as a Jig. Cut the redudant 4th terminal off using a dremel slitting disc or such. That way you save your 4th termnial to add to another full deans block. Making sure you can only plug it in one way is simple enough. ||- ![]()

Vader.
That looks like a quality product, do they do them in Blue, I reckon they'd sell if they did them in Blue ! Seriously though, in the early days I did use them, and they did melt. I like Adams idea with the deans, I was thinking along those lines... now where to get some cheap deans connectors..... |

'powerpole connectors' do the same thing but are a little larger than deans style and I've seen yellow as well
