Default KO Vantage Spektrum Conversion

Hi all

I know helger do the conversion of the KO Vantage to accomodate the Spektrum module, I'm thinking of doing the conversion myself, does anyone have a pictures of the wiring required?

I understand that some circuit boards need moving and antenna blanked etc. and done all that just stuck as to which spektrum pins connect to which KO pins.

Any help or pic's would be appreciated, Thanks

For the sake of the cost of the conversion, is it worth trying this yourself?

My own opinion is that for peace of mind, its worth letting helger sort it, even though we may be capable of doing it ourselves.

The transmitter has a lot of responsibility to hold a line of communication, unbroken, with the receiver.... any slight problems and its either glitch central, or it just simply won't work.

There are actually five from the spektrum and yes correct that essentially it is just a plug! You say to just let helger just do it but with postage the cost will be close to £60, approx 24 pints - you see the dilemma i'm in for only 5 wires to be soldered!!
