i have searched the forum for this but couldnt find it. i would like to use losi springs on the lazer as i already have them but i need to know what the kyosho spring numbers mean. for example #70 (kit shocks), what weight are they in terms of lbs. or some other measurement? i would like to know so i can use springs from other companies with the same or different rate.

The spring numbers mean nothing except the larger the number, the harder the spring. It isn't on a scale or anything, I can't see any reason for the numbering either as the touring car springs are all numbered in the 30's.

I don't think anyone has tried to test the springs, I haven't seen any real measurements anywhere.

To be honest if you plan to use Losi springs anyway you may as well just throw on the same ones that you would use on an XX-4 and work from there!
