Default Technical terms

I have a setup for xx4 and some aspects of it i dont understand can someoen exsplain

For starters what is a front ackerman and what does this line mena in a setup:

Ackerman- outer with draglink - 3mm

And what is the samber link - 8c


Any help would be apreciated

A
ackerman is the link between the two inner front steering arms in board the ones the servo connects to
8 c is number 8 on the shock tower see manual
c is on the hub outer most i think check manual again it shows u in there

and if it's written exactly like you typed it (draglink -3mm) then it's a custom draglink that is 3mm shorter than standard.

Where could i get one of these custom draglinks,or do i have to make one and is it the white bit in the steering?

HEHE this makes me sound such a newbie this xx4 is totally confusing me i love my b4its so simple.

The custom draglink is something you'll have to make. Use two ball ends and cut them down a little and use a very short turnbuckle to get the right length.

As for pistons, you can't buy a full set. You'll have to buy each colour separately

Red - A5046
Black - A5045
Blue - A5048
Natural - A5043
Orange - A5047
