Default Rebound valve?

Does anyone still use the kit front big bore shock rebound valve?

have started to again recently with good results. it has +and - points not quite as good across rattly bumps but a lot smoother out of a corner when on power.

but with the BB-shocks and pistons, they are a VERY close fit.

I noticed I had to sand the pistons a bit to make the piston slightly thinner, (which does not affect the piston-function AFAIK),...
to be able to fit the piston AND the valve between the cir-clips.
