Default help interference problems

hi i have just upgraded my radio gear to a gemini 2 40mhz fm and a hitec hfs-03mm receiver i put it in my losi xxx-cr i am getting all sorts of interference if i remove the receiver and hang it over the side it seems to be ok but soon as it goes near the chassis im getting it again

i used the radio and receiver in my mardave saturday and it was fine

i have also put my old 40mhz am receiver in there and tried it with my old radio and its fine no problems

any ideas as its doing my head in

If the chassis is carbon it could be part of the problem? Other than I can say that I never had a very good experience with hitec and got alot of interferance problems with their equipment when I used to use it so trying a sanwa reciever could be an idea?

you need sanwa crystals I wouldn't gamble, I tried ko and futaba xtals and they certainly didn't work at all when I tried them in my sanwa gemmini II transmitter and 301 reciever

I have used KO and Futaba recievers with a Gemini 2. All worked very well as long as you use the Sanwa crystals. Hi-Tec, not so good though.
