its been over a year since the release of the very detailed, 1/43rd racing model so... what's up in the UK? is it catching on or what? Oople is a VERY popular R/C forum but no buzz about this model? i'm really surprised considering how meticulous UK R/C'ers are... their appreciation for detail is well documented. what's the dilly yo??

Its silly expensive in the UK (£150 for the car, £80 or so for the radio gear), thats well into 4wd buggy territory.
They look fantastic though.

![]() I've been umming and ahhing about one of these for quite a while. the only thing that really puts me off is the steerwheel radio - I've already got 2 mini-z's running on 27mhz in my loft track, but interference is a pig up there. 2.4 ghz attracts me, but I need to use sticks! |

KO Propo 2.4GhZ transmitters with a Mini-Z Module can be used with dNaNo. if you have a 3PK or M11 transmitter, you can pick up a KO Mini-Z Module + an adapter instead. i believe there is a 2.4GhZ conversion kit for Mini-Z as well if you're looking to switch over completely.
re: 4wd buggy price yes, the INITIAL price is a bit expensive but all the gear and spare items which you will need to invest to keep your buggy going aren't required with dNaNo. i've run my dnano almost daily since january and nothing has broken. after picking up all the hop-ups, the only thing you are replacing is tires... its a VERY cost-effective indoor alternative so... a fraction of the overall cost of buggies ![]() |
