Default Not the usual B4 vs XXX thread

Right i am looking to buy a new 2wd

Everything in my head says go for the B4 like i have the spring sets from the BJ4 and some spares are the same also its winning pedigree and i think it looks slightly nicer than the xxx cr, but is there any reason why i should buy a losi? i know the above are no reasons to buy a car but they do seem to sway me towards the B4.

thanks

I got a BK2 and a B4, the BK2 is easy to drive lap after lap, but the B4 will lap faster each time, and feels more alive.

the b4 is probably slightly faster, if you have the skill level to keep it on its wheels for 10-15 laps, if like the majority of us you can only manage 5-7 laps clean, at a time go for the xxxcr its more stable and easier to drive, and the difference between bk bk2 and xxxcr is massive we tried em

Sorry Carl but I'm going to have to disagree again after having a CR for a while recently, it's the exact opposite.
The B4 is very smooth, stable and just naturally fast. You settle down, bod round and let the car do the work and you'll go pretty quickly. The Losi is much more twitchy and aggresive, you have to drive it at 110% to go quickly. Look at the results Tom has had recently with his CR, and we know how he drives...

with the B4 you can just 'drive' it and get a good time

with the CR you need to thrash it to get the time out of the car, come into the corners on the brakes with a bit of slide, get it squared up and punch it to the next corner where you need to slide it in to get it to steer etc..

I personally found it quite hard getting fast times out of the CR, especially after running the B4 for a bit, all you have to do with the B4 is guide it around the track, it turns in well, it exits corners well, jumps well, bumps are not an issue

I gave it quite a bit of running actually, just not many race meetings. I ran it enough and tried enough setups to know it wasn't for me.

Well i have just ordered the B4 FT kit, i like the idea of driving the car and not having to thrash it as that is not my style.

I feel sorry for losi in a way as they seem to be lacking in peoples opinions but maybe they just dont suit the uk tracks?

Now i need to get another body sprayed up the same as the Bj4 so the mrs doesn`t know i have bought another car

must say sumthing. i personally think losi are great, easy to work with. plus there must be a reason why tom cockerill has changed his set up aye ?

from a bj4 worlds and a b4 ft , to a xxxcr and a xx4 worlds edition... plus he seems to be faster......

ye i know what you meen, but still this guys saying they are crap. if people are reverting back to a past car because the xxx4 is pants and are not changing car brand to IE j concepts or x factory says sumthing dont it ?

Losi must be good for some reason regarding the xx4, why are there so many of them around ? at york regional there was loads of them
