Default Team associated 3 or 4 hole pistons?

Has anyone got the associated blank pistons and drilled them out for a 3 or 4 hole configuration? If anyone has tried the 4 hole version what drill size did you use and what weight shock oil with them?

that's the thing with those blank pistons, you have to experiment to find out what works best for you. a lot of people like to wrench on about every part on their cars. just try something small and 2 regular sized holes, as on a standard piston, and work with that.

i rarely see anyone using a third hole, much less the forth. what i see people doing is drilling one large and one small hole. in different variations/sizes.

I have tried Losi pistons in Associated shocks. The losi pistons have three holes in them as standard. tried hole sizes of 54 and 55 in the rear which I believe are the blue and orange ones and tried 55 and 56 in the front which are orange and red in colour.

54's in the rear with 30wt and 56's in the front with 35wt oil seemed to work pretty well from my experimenting, Whether it's any quicker round the track than associated's 1's and 2's I don't really know.

Only way to find out is to try for yourself, just don't get lost with trying to many differen't things.
