Default Indoor Buggy Racing Series

Hi everyone, after the 'X-mas special' event I held last year in the horse arena near Stannington I have secured the venue to hold a 7 round indoor series. I've sorted the lend of timing equipment and Bill Allison is going to help run the series, as I'm not that clued up on the timing gear etc. The dates of the rounds have been selected to try and cause as little disturbance with any other RC meetings both nationally and in the area although the first round does clash with an NRX meeting unfortunately. Please also note the dates are 'provisional' but I don't intend to change any unless for some unforeseen circumstance I have to. Anyway check out the web site and I hope you all can come for some good racing! P.S. I borrowed some of the images from you Chequered flag racing so I hope you dont mind?

Please check the website as I have amended the timetable. Now both Double headers are going to happen in one day (each), rather than spanning over an entire weekend.
The first round will be held in the AM with the second round happening after lunch on a different track. Should make for two pretty action packed days though

It is with great regret that I'm canceling the first round of the IBRS, unfortunately only two people have registered any interest in this mini summer series and as the first round was due to be held this weekend, I simply cannot justify driving to Rotherham and back tomorrow night to collect the track marking etc. Round 2 is still going ahead at this point however it will depend on interest shown. Sorry, to the two people who wanted to attend, for the inconvenience. I thought people wanted to get more racing done and that there was a lack of tracks etc? Anyone got any ideas why theres been little to no take up?

lack of tracks? possibly
the problem is that most tracks run their own series and with regionals there are simply too many "events" for the number of drivers.

Better luck with round 2
