Default what brushless?

Would a 13.5 BL in a RC10 B4 be ok for Batley outdoor?

I'm a bit of a beginner in the off-road stakes... what is a ballpark FDR figure suitable for Batley?

Oh, 'n what's with the crazy wind BL's... i.e.4.5-6.5... why so quick on a buggy?

sorry for being such a dumb*ss...

You could give it a go, but your always going to struggle to be competitive with a 13.5. Highest you could get away with is probably a 10.5, but most people run 6.5-8.5.

Is this in a 2wd? Wouldn't the rear spin out with so much "oomph" available?

Yep, in a B4. Don't forget a 10.5 brushless is equivalent to a 19t brushed, 8.5t roughly 13T etc.

You can control the bottom end power a bit with speedo settings or negative throttle curve if needed.

OK... you kinda lost me there...

I'm thinking of running a GTB speedo... I think I can only select braking profiles and reverse! WTF is negative throttle curve?

On most brushless speedos you can adjust the punch profile. On most trannys you can adjust the curve of the throttle, i.e smooth off the bottom end punch.

As Rich said on the other thread, the 13.5T would be fine on most the track, so just start with that see how you go . Must admit the 8.5t I was running today was still a handful with the new lipo.
