Default Charging lipos over 5000mah

My bantam bc6 has a max charge of 5amps, as do most lipo chargers i believe. Does this mean there is no point in me buying a lipo greater than 5000mah? Am thinking vampire/LRP products - any point in getting them with this charger?

Cheers

It will be fine, you just won't be able to charge at 1C.

I charge my 6000 mah Max Amps as 5000 mah - i.e. at 5 amps. Awesome punch and have never run anywhere near flat. Take a while to charge back up though.

Mostly club and regional racing you will be topping up between rounds, you should get half an hour at least to put back in what you took out in 5 minutes, if its a 5500 or 3500, you will use much the same racing, 5500 may have more punch, depending on the output C number.
I don't think a 5500 battery will make much difference to charger or charge times, topped up at 5 amps may take 10% longer (than 5.5amps), that may be 5min.
You can pull them off 90% charged and still run a race.
