Default B3

This is basically a B3. When Thunder Tiger bought Associated they took the old Associated B3 and repackaged it as a new Thunder Tiger electric off-road buggy.

Probably good for mucking about in the park or garden but check the avalibility of spares when you hit a tree or lamp post. Whether the B3 parts fit, you would have to double check on that.

If you're looking for a good 2wd buggy have a look at the ready-to-run B4 sets. Spares are easy to get hold of, loads of help and advise avalible. Plus if you want to have a go at racing and want to upgrade parts on the car you can do so if and when ready to.

ah. thanks for the reply. i didn't relaise thunder tiger had bought associated. i was just browsing the rc10talk forum and saw that somebody had seen them for $80ish and that they are a b3 with no ballraces and different shock mount, so i thought that would be a good buy. how much is that in good old sterling £65ish? and thought it would be ok for the money. i've actually got a load of electrical gear so would prefer a car minus all electrics. what is the difference between the b4 kits?

cheers again

By the time you have imported it into the UK, paid the carraige cost, import duty, and UK handling charges, you'll probably be looking at about £70-80 ish for that.

Used B4's go for as little as £60, and Factory Team ones from £80-110. You can't go far wrong with one at that price really. As mentioned above, spares are readily available.
